Description

It is an introductory experimental laboratory that explores the design, construction, and debugging of analog electronic circuits, performance characteristics of diodes, transistors, JFETs, and op-amps, including the construction amplifier and preamplifier.

In Analog Electronics LAB performs practical’s of different subjects like Elements Of Electronics (EEX), Electronic Devices and Circuits (EDC), Linear Integrated Circuits (LIC), Basic Electronics(BEE).

2) COMMUNICATION LAB

Description

Communication engineering laboratory focuses on training the students in both analog and digital transmission/reception of signal. The students here start in the analog area by constructing the circuits of amplitude modulation, frequency modulation and phase modulation. An AM transmitter is constructed by them in the MW frequency of electromagnetic spectrum and they do a live transmission with minimum power output.

3) DIGITAL AND MICROCONTROLLER LAB

Description

The purpose of this lab is to introduce the basic concepts of designing microcontroller based systems. Students can execute basic programs on 8051 kits. Also, one can simulate their codes using freeware like Kiel, Xilinx, and MATLAB etc.

And also principle of digital techniques related to logic gates, flip-flops, counters and latches, registers, few digital systems.

Digital and microcontroller lab performs practicals of different subjects like Principle of Digital Techniques (PDT), Microprocessor and Microcontroller (MIC), Embedded System (ESY) , Very Large Scale Integration (VLSI).

Description

This lab is equipped with a range of sensors. Students here learn to acquire data through various types of sensors.

It familizes the student with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC) as hardware and the software used to program it, also to familiarize him with programming PLC using ladder logic diagrams in order to control an electro-pneumatic system.

 Measurement and Control LAB performs practicals of different subjects like Electronic Instruments and Measurement (EIM), Power Electronics (PEL), Industrial Measurement (IME).

Students get the knowledge of basic architecture and working of GSM based on mobile phones identification systems and various modulation measurement parameters.
